The U.S. Election Assistance Commission (EAC) Standards Board held their 2021 Annual Meeting primarily to discuss next steps regarding the recently approved VVSG 2.0 Requirements, including the VVSG 2.0. lifecycle policy. This meeting included a question and answer discussion between board members and EAC staff.

Commissioners held a hearing to discuss the proposed Voluntary Voting System Guidelines (VVSG) 2.0 Requirements as submitted by the Technical Guidelines Development Committee (TGDC).
The EAC initiated a 90-day public comment period on the VVSG 2.0 Requirements, which will run through June 22, 2020.
