Short Description of Changes

This ECO accommodates End-of-Life (EOL) notices from several Commercial Off-the-Shelf (COTS) devices, and to make an
update to the Verity Ballot Box to support repairability of the top panel.
No software modifications are required. The ECO has updates applicable to all Verity Voting deployments and to
Verity Vanguard 1.0.

The Election Administration and Voting Survey has included a Policy Survey section since 2008 (the Policy Survey was previously known as the Statutory Overview from 2008-2016, the name changed to the Policy Survey in 2018). In this section, states are asked a series of questions about their state election laws, definitions, and procedures. This information helps the EAC and its stakeholders understand the quantitative data from the EAVS while also providing a clearer picture of the local legal landscape governing U.S. elections.

Short Description of Changes

This ECO modifies the DS300 Smart Card Module Kit to improve kit retention during installation and insulate from electrical contact. ES&S identified a potential issue during preventive maintenance, and these changes were implemented as a preventive measure to reduce the risk of shield failure.
