Closeout

The EAC requires that grants be closed no later than one year after the end of the performance period or after receiving final grant reports. For HAVA grants that are available until expended, administrative closeout occurs every five years and final closeout occurs after funds have been fully expended.

The Office of Grants Management will not close a grant that has an outstanding EAC debt collection or is otherwise non-compliant with grant requirements.
