Touch Writer Duo and Touch Writer Duo Standalone devices
Hart Verity 2.3, 2.3.3, 2.3.4, 2.4, 2.5, 2.6, and 2.7
This ECO is created to integrate and track a manufacturer’s revision to the Brother PJ-723 thermal printer, used by Hart within the Verity Touch Writer Duo series devices. The revised thermal printer adds a newer manufacturer’s firmware, and an internal mechanical feature is added that ensures constant firm paper contact with the thermal print head. The revision enhances print speed. The printer is otherwise form, fit, and function compatible to the current PJ-723 thermal printer revision, and is compatible with the Verity Touch Writer Duo software with no changes required. This ECO affects the Verity Touch Writer Duo series devices’ Bills of Materials (BOMs) only, resulting in a revision change to the assemblies for tracking purposes. There are no changes to other Verity devices or workstation software.
Verity Count
Verity Voting 2.6, Verity Voting 2.7
The changes described in this ECO eliminate an anomaly in the Verity Count Write-In Assignment UI where only the first one hundred write-ins for a contest are shown. The changes were developed in response to the Verity Count: Only 100 Write-ins In Assignment UI, Verity Voting 2.6 Root Cause Analysis (RCA).
This change is applied with a SQL patch that has been validated by Hart Quality Assurance to correct the anomaly in new and existing elections.
This change affects Verity Count server products on the Verity Voting 2.6 and 2.7 systems only. There are no changes to other Verity devices or workstation software.
“I Voted” stickers are an opportunity for citizens to show their civic pride after voting. Sticker design competitions are also one way election offices can engage with the communities they serve.
