EAC Board of Advisors to Gather in Salt Lake City for Annual Meeting

Members of the U.S. Election Assistance Commission’s (EAC) Board of Advisors will meet in Salt Lake City from April 24-25 to discuss election security, the next generation of voluntary voting system guidelines testing requirements, disaster preparedness and recovery, voting accessibility and the upcoming release of the 2018 Election Administration & Voting Survey.

McCormick Elected New EAC Chairwoman

Commissioner Christy McCormick has been elected the new Chairwoman of the U.S. Election Assistance Commission (EAC), a position she will hold for one year. McCormick will continue to serve alongside newly-elected EAC Vice Chairman Ben Hovland, and EAC Commissioners Thomas Hicks and Donald Palmer.

Montgomery County Board of Elections Wins National Award for its Future Vote Initiative

The U.S. Election Assistance Commission (EAC) today announced that the Montgomery County Board of Elections (BOE) was the recipient of a 2018 “Clearie” Award for Recruiting, Training and Retaining Election Workers. The BOE received the award for the Future Vote Initiative, which encourages students from grades 6 to 12 to participate in elections.

EAC Boards Complete Annual Meetings in Miami
