The U.S. Election Assistance Commission (EAC)’s Standards Board will host an in-person public meeting on April 16– 17, 2026, at The Drake Hotel in Chicago, Illinois. During the meeting, members will conduct regular business and discuss EAC updates and upcoming programs.

The Standards Board consists of 55 state election officials selected by their respective chief state election official and 55 local election officials selected through a process supervised by the chief state election official. 

If you are a member of the public and you are interested in attending, please register below. Information on how to submit written comments is forthcoming. 

WHEN: Thursday, April 16, 2026, 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Central Time and Friday, April 17, 2026, 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. Central Time

MEETING LOCATION: The Drake, 140 East Walton Place, Chicago, IL 60611

PUBLIC REGISTRATION LINK: Please note this meeting will not be livestreamed. Registration is required to attend. Please register by April 10, 2026. Standards Board members should have received instructions on how to attend through the Board's Alternate Designated Federal Officer.
