“Coffee with Nick" Virtual Talk Show for Election Officials

Wake County’s simple but effective concept for poll worker outreach was to host a weekly virtual talk show for election workers across the County. Sample topics included: COVID-19 planning, election timelines, the when and where of training, polling place assignments, and other topics. Ultimately, the “Coffee with Nick” sessions led to 28 pages of frequently asked questions and answers. Officials used these as a go-to resource to send to election workers and new full-time staff members.
