Military and Overseas Citizens

Under the Uniformed and Overseas Citizens Absentee Voting Act (UOCAVA), eligible active duty service members and their family members who are absent from their voting jurisdiction, as well as eligible citizens residing outside the U.S., may register and vote with their state of voting residence. Support for these voters is provided by the Federal Voting Assistance Program (FVAP) and designated election officials in each state.
