Program Summary
The Charleston County Voter Ambassador Program empowers residents to become trusted messengers with accurate election information. Launched in 2024 and continued today, the initiative trains volunteers to host voter registration drives, answer questions, and share clear, accessible guidance about voting. Ambassadors receive in-depth instruction on election laws, voter education, and effective communication strategies, along with professional materials to support outreach. With more than 220 ambassadors trained in under two years, the program expands the countys communication reach, strengthens civic understanding, and ensures that reliable information flows directly through neighborhoods, community groups, and underserved areas.
