Voting System Testing Update

The “Voting System Testing Update” blog is an effort to keep everyone informed of the progress systems in the EAC’s Testing and Certification Program are making each week.  We hope that this adds additional transparency to our process and allows stakeholders to get a weekly update about test campaigns that impact their jurisdiction.

Voting Systems under Test:

ClearBallot Group ClearVote 1.4. ClearBallot provided the TDP to EAC and Pro V&V. Pro V&V and ClearBallot are working on revisions to the Test Plan based on EAC comments. Dominion Democracy Suite 5.0-A. EAC received Rev. A of the Test Plan on May 8th and will provide comments or approval by May 19th. If you would like to view documents related to this test campaign, please visit our website. Ryan Macias is the project manager on this test campaign.

Everyone Counts elect Quad Audit 4.4.0. Everyone Count requested a suspension of testing for this campaign on March 16th. They have 90 days (June 14th) to restart testing or this campaign will be terminated. Microvote EMS 4.2. EAC received the revised Test Plan and will provide comments or approval by May 12th. If you would like to view documents related to this test campaign, please visit our website. Brian Hancock is the project manager on this test campaign.

Unisyn OpenElect 2.0. EAC is waiting for Rev. B of the Test Plan and hopes to review and approve it this week. Testing is temporarily on hold due to a discrepancy identified during testing.
