Voting System Testing Update

The “Voting System Testing Update” blog is an effort to keep everyone informed of the progress systems in the EAC’s Testing and Certification Program are making each week.  We hope that this adds additional transparency to our process and allows stakeholders to get a regular update about test campaigns that impact their jurisdiction.

Voting Systems Under Test: 

ClearBallot Group ClearVote 1.4.   The EAC received the final iteration of the ClearVote 1.4 Test Report Rev. C on January 30, 2018. Initial Certification Decision documents were sent to the Executive Director on January 31st.  If you would like to view documents related to this test campaign, please visit our website. Dominion Democracy Suite DVS 5.5.  EAC received Revision B of the Test Plan on January 15th.  Pro V&V is currently working on the next revision to the Test Plan.  Ryan Macias is the project manager on this test campaign.

ES&S EVS 5.2.3.0.  EAC submitted comments to Revision 1.2 of the Test Report to SLI on January 11th.  SLI is currently working on the next revision to the Test Report. Ryan Macias is the project manager on this test campaign.

ES&S EVS 6.0.0.0.   EAC approved Revision 1.2 of the Test Plan on January 16th.  If you would like to view documents related to this test campaign, please visit our website. Ryan Macias is the project manager on this test campaign.

MicroVote EMS 4.2.  EAC approved Rev. C of the Test Plan on September 14, 2017. If you would like to view documents related to this test campaign, please visit our website. Brian Hancock is the project manager on this test campaign.

Unisyn OpenElect 2.0.A.  The application for testing this system modification was approved on November 21, 2017. Jerome Lovato is the project manager on this test campaign.

Unisyn OpenElect 1.3.0.2.A. The EAC received version 1.0 of the Test Report for this system from SLI Compliance on January 23, 2018. Brian Hancock is the project manager on this test campaign.

The EAC approved an application to test the Hart Verity Voting 2.2.2 voting system on January 26, 2018. Jerome Lovato will be the EAC project manager on this test campaign.
