Voting System Testing Update

The “Voting System Testing Update” blog is an effort to keep everyone informed of the progress systems in the EAC’s Testing and Certification Program are making each week.  We hope that this adds additional transparency to our process and allows stakeholders to get a weekly update about test campaigns that impact their jurisdiction.

Voting Systems Under Test: 

ClearBallot Group ClearVote 1.4.   The EAC submitted comments to the initial iteration of the Test Report for this system on December 14, 2017 If you would like to view documents related to this test campaign, please visit our website. Brian Hancock is the project manager on this test campaign.

Dominion Democracy Suite DVS 5.5.  EAC received Revision A of the Test Plan on December 6th.  Pro V&V is currently working on the next revision to the Test Plan.  Ryan Macias will be the project manager on this test campaign.

ES&S EVS 5.2.0.3.  EAC received the initial Test Report on system testing from SLI on December 14th.  Ryan Macias is the project manager on this test campaign.

ES&S EVS 6.0.0.0.   EAC received Revision 1.1 of the Test Plan on December 12th.  SLI is currently working on the next revision to the Test Plan. If you would like to view documents related to this test campaign, please visit our website. Ryan Macias is the project manager on this test campaign.

MicroVote EMS 4.2. EAC approved Rev. C of the Test Plan on September 14, 2017. If you would like to view documents related to this test campaign, please visit our website. Brian Hancock is the project manager on this test campaign.

Unisyn OpenElect 2.0A.  The application for testing this system modification was approved on November 21, 2017. Jerome Lovato is the project manager on this test campaign.

Unisyn OpenElect 1.3.0.2A. The EAC received the 2nd version of the Test Plan addressing staff comments to the original on December 19th 2017. Brian Hancock is the project manager on this test campaign.
