Voting System Testing Update

The “Voting System Testing Update” blog is an effort to keep everyone informed of the progress systems in the EAC’s Testing and Certification Program are making each week.  We hope that this adds additional transparency to our process and allows stakeholders to get a weekly update about test campaigns that impact their jurisdiction.

Voting Systems Under Test:  

ClearBallot Group ClearVote 1.4.   The EAC received the initial iteration of the Test Report for this system on November 17, 2017 If you would like to view documents related to this test campaign, please visit our website. Brian Hancock is the project manager on this test campaign.

Dominion Democracy Suite DVS 5.5.  On November 14, 2017, EAC provided comments to Pro V&V on the Test Plan and are currently awaiting the next revision to the Test Plan.  If you would like to view documents related to this test campaign, please visit our website.  Ryan Macias is the project manager on this test campaign.

ES&S EVS 5.2.0.3.  On October 24, 2017, the EAC approved the EVS 5.2.3.0 voting system, which is a modification to the previously certified EVS 5.2.2.0 voting system.  On November 14, 2017, the EAC received and reviewed the initial test plan and provided its comments back to SLI on November 22, 2017.  If you would like to view documents related to this test campaign, please visit our website.   Ryan Macias is the project manager on this test campaign.

ES&S EVS 6.0.0.0.   On November 1, 2017, the EAC provided comments to SLI on the Test Plan and are awaiting the next revision to the Test Plan. If you would like to view documents related to this test campaign, please visit our website. Ryan Macias is the project manager on this test campaign.

MicroVote EMS 4.2. EAC approved Rev. C of the Test Plan on September 14, 2017. If you would like to view documents related to this test campaign, please visit our website. Brian Hancock is the project manager on this test campaign.

Unisyn OpenElect 2.0A.  The application for testing this system modification was approved on November 21, 2017. Jerome Lovato is the project manager on this test campaign.

Unisyn OpenElect 1.3.0.2A. The application for testing this system modification was approved by the EAC on October 27, 2017. Brian Hancock is the project manager on this test campaign.
