The EAC Board of Advisors reviewed and provided comment on Phase II of the Election Operations Assessment, considering threat trees for the seven voting types covered by the Election Operations Assessment.
Commission reviewed Clearinghouse Policy, UOCAVA Pilot Program Testing and Certification Manual, and UOCAVA Pilot Voting Program and Requirements Document.
Topics: Recommendations on a transition date for VVSG 1.1 and a policy regarding employee participation with outside organizations.
At this event Commissioners brought together state/local election officials and research experts to: (1) discuss ways to recruit and train election workers; and (2) discuss allocation of resources at the polls on Election Day. The 2016 Election Worker Guidebook was also released.
The EAC Board of Advisers reviewed and provided comment on Phase I of the draft Election Operations Assessment. Phase I of the project was geared towards information gathering and modeling and was designed to create the framework for the remaining two phases of the project. The scope of the document and the project that created it focus on procedures and equipment that move the ballot through the electoral process.
Topics included updates from Payments and Grants and the Election Administration and Voting Survey, the MOVE Act, UOCAVA and FVAP.
The virtual meeting room opened on Monday, April 26, 2010 and closed on Friday, April 30, 2010. The site was available 24 hours per day during that 5-day period.

Ahead of the 2018 midterm elections, the U.S. Election Assistance Commission will host an all-day summit to highlight a spectrum of issues that state and local election officials will face as they work to administer secure, accessible and efficient 2018 federal elections. The event will feature keynote speakers and expert panelists who will address topics such as election security, voting accessibility, and how to use election data to improve the voter experience.

The Technical Guidelines Development Committee (TGDC) will meet at the U.S. Access Board in Washington, DC, from Feb. 13-14 to discuss next steps toward development of the next generation of Voluntary Voting System Guidelines (VVSG).
