Note: If you wish to vote absentee and are a uniformed service member or family member or a citizen living outside the U.S., contact the Federal Voting Assistance Program to register to vote.

  • Contingency Planning

    The Chicago Board of Elections, has contingency plans in place due to the fact that we have had a fire in our building as well as having our building flooded.

  • Poll Worker Information

    The Board has prepared manuals and trained over 14,000 pollworkers per election.

  • Pre Election Activities

    The Board has performed pre-lat on more than 30,000 pieces of equipment.

  • Post Election Activities

    The Board trains and updates the media.

  • Voting System Performance

    Prior to picking our current equipment, the Board has reviewed equipment from all vendors as well as keeping updated on new equipment.
