The Commission held a public hearing to receive testimony about accessible voting and the progress made since passage of the Help America Vote Act of 2002 (HAVA).


In advance of the hearing, EAC encouraged voters with disabilities to share their experiences with accessible voting. Commissioners accepted written testimony for an additional time period and the website was updated to include the additional testimony. The written testimony submitted to the EAC was included as part of the transcript
