Voting System Testing Update 8.12.15

Aug 12, 2015

The "Voting System Testing Update" blog is an effort to keep everyone informed of the progress systems in the EAC’s Testing and Certification Program are making each week.  We hope that this adds additional transparency to our process and allows stakeholders to get a weekly update about test campaigns that impact their jurisdiction.

Voting Systems under Test:

ESS EVS 5.2.0.3. This system was certified on August 5th.  If you would like to view documents related to this test campaign, please visit our website. Brian Hancock is the project manager on this test campaign.

ESS EVS 5.4.0.0. Test Plan Rev. A was received on July 27th and EAC provided comments to NTS on July 31st. EAC expects to receive a Rev. B in the next week or two. If you would like to view documents related to this test campaign, please visit our website. Megan Dillon is the project manager on this test campaign.

Everyone Counts. EAC is waiting for additional information related to the system and holding weekly status calls for this campaign. If you would like to view documents related to this test campaign, please visit our website. Brian Hancock and Megan Dillon are the project managers on this test campaign.

If you would like more information about the certification process, please read Chapter 4 and 5 of the Testing and Certification Program Manual.  If you have additional questions or would like additional information about a particular voting system, please email Jessica Myers at jmyers@eac.gov.
