Remember to Register
The EAC would like to remind you to register to vote. We have the NVRA form available on our website in English, Spanish, Chinese, Japanese, Korean, Tagalog and Vietnamese. Also, we recently posted a blog with additional guidance on this form.
Voter Tips
The EAC created a card called “Voting Tips” to offer tips and reminders to voters to make sure they are prepared for Election Day.
EAC Election Calendar
One of the resources the EAC created to keep track of election deadlines is an Election calendar. This calendar tracks election dates, absentee ballot deadlines, voter registration deadlines and early voting times. As we approach November, there are many important deadlines that occur in the weeks leading up to the election. We hope this calendar will be useful.
This key will help you understand the abbreviations in the calendar:
·         Elections are red
o    P = Primary
o    PPE=Presidential Preference Election
o    S=Special Election
o    SP=Special Primary Election
o    SG=Special General Election
·         Absentee Ballot deadlines are purple
o    ABS=Absentee Ballot Request deadline
·         Early voting/in person absentee voting periods are orange
o    EV=Early Voting/In Person Absentee voting period
·         Voter registration deadlines are green
o    VR=Voter Registration deadline
·         State abbreviations are used for each entry (e.g., DC = Washington, D.C.)
If you have questions about a deadline, please contact your Secretary of State or local election office.
If you have questions about the calendar, please contact Jessica Myers at jmyers@eac.gov or via Twitter (@EACgov).
