We will post an Election update blog every Monday in an effort to summarize the elections and election deadlines each week until all primaries, special elections, and general elections scheduled for 2014 are finished. If you have additional information, requests, or corrections, please submit a comment below, via Twitter @EACgov or email Jessica Myers at jmyers@eac.gov.
Elections this week:
·         Washington. There is a Special Election April 22nd. If ballot is returned by mail, it must be postmarked no later than Election Day; ballots can be returned to designated drop boxes or to your county elections department no later than 8 p.m. on Election Day. More information is available here.
Other Highlights:
·         Kentucky - The voter registration deadline for the May 20th Primary is April 21st.
·         LouisianaEarly voting for the May 3rd municipal Primary is available April 21st through April 26th.
·         NebraskaEarly voting for the May 13th Primary is available April 12th through May 12th.
·         Pennsylvania – The voter registration deadline for the May 20th Primary is April 21st.
·         Virginia – The voter registration deadline for the May 6th election is April 14th.
·         WashingtonSpecial election ballots for the April 22nd will be sent out April 4th. The voter registration deadline is April 14th.
·         Wyoming - The voter registration deadline for the May 20th Primary is April 21st.
