2010 Help America Vote Act College Poll Worker Program

The U.S. Election Assistance Commission announces the availability of $750,000 in grant funds for three-year awards to recruit, train, and support college students to assist state and local governments in the administration of elections by serving as nonpartisan poll workers or assistants. The application deadline is March 31, 2010 5:00 p.m. Eastern Time. 2010 Help America Vote Act Mock Election Program ( NOTE: The application deadline has passed )

The U.S. Election Assistance Commission has made available up to $300,000 in grant funds for the first year of a possible three-year award to organize and administer mock elections for high school students. The application deadline was March 9, 2010 5:00 p.m. Eastern Time. The grant application and instructions can be downloaded here.
