Voting System Testing Update
The “Voting System Testing Update” blog is an effort to keep everyone informed of the progress systems in the EAC’s Testing and Certification Program are making each week. We hope that this adds additional transparency to our process and allows stakeholders to get a weekly update about test campaigns that impact their jurisdiction.
Voting Systems under Test:
· Dominion Democracy Suite 4.14. Testing continues at Wyle. If you would like to view documents related to this test campaign, please visit our website. Jessica Myers is the project manager on this test campaign.
· Election Systems & Software (ES&S) EVS 188.8.131.52. EAC issued the Initial Decision for Certification on Monday, May 13th. A Final Decision and Certificate will be issued as soon as all final checks and approvals are complete. For documents related to this test campaign, please visit our website. Brian Hancock is the project manager on this test campaign.
· Hart InterCivic. At the request of Hart, EAC moved the in person kick off meeting from the week of June 10, 2013 to the week of July 8, 2013. Hart requested the changes due to delays in development and building of the system. Hart continues to work on development and building of the voting system. More information will be available on our website after the manufacturer and VSTL are ready to begin Test Plan development and testing. Jessica Myers is the project manager on this test campaign.
