from: Jessica Myers on Apr 17, 2013

Voting System Test Laboratory Program Manual, Version 2.0
EAC is holding a 60-day public comment period for the Voting System Test Laboratory (VSTL) Program Manual, version 2.0. The purpose of the comment period is to provide an opportunity for the public to offer additional input on proposed changes to the Manual and to meet Paperwork Reduction Act requirements.
Version 2 is available on the EAC’s website. The comment period begins April 16, 2013. Comments must be received on or before 4 p.m. EST on June 17, 2013.
The U.S. Election Assistance Commission (EAC) is publishing a procedural manual for its Voting System Testing and Certification Program. This manual sets the administrative procedures for becoming an EAC accredited test laboratory and guidelines for VSTL participation in the EAC Testing and Certification Program. The program is mandated by the Help America Vote Act (HAVA) at 42 US.C. 15371.
For more information about changes made to the Manual or the comment period, please view the Federal Register notice. For questions about how to submit comments, please contact Jessica Myers by email at jmyers@eac.gov.
