2009 Help America Vote Act Mock Election Program 
The U.S. Election Assistance Commission has made available up to $300,000 in grant funds for the first year of a two-year award to organize and administer mock elections for High School students. The application deadline is June 30, 2009 5:00 p.m. Eastern Time. Additional information, including application instructions, are availabe on the 2009 Mock Election Program grant page.


2009 Help America Vote College Program 
The U.S. Election Assistance Commission will award a total of $750,000 in grant funds for a two-year award to recruit, train, and support college students to assist state and local governments in the administration of elections by serving as nonpartisan poll workers or assistants.
