04/30/07 -- EAC to Discuss Florida Request on HAVA Funds

Florida Secretary of State Kurt Browning to Speak

WHAT:

Public Meeting (2:00 – 4:00 p.m.) EAC will discuss Florida’s request on whether HAVA funds can be used to replace touch screen voting systems that were purchased with HAVA funds. EAC will also consider adopting an advisory on the state Maintenance of Effort (MOE) requirements necessary to meet HAVA compliance.
